Meet Steven

My three sons, the Bettles Boys. Happy days!

My name is Steven Bettles and I've been a small business owner, self-employed with employees, and now a Solopreneur for well over 25 of the past 30 years.

I have a pretty balanced life now, where all my needs are met and I am financially, emotionally and mentally stable. But, like all business owners, I want to achieve more, and earn more, so I can Live more.

I started my business journey when I was 20 years old (back in the late 80's when I loved "Iron Maiden") where I started to sell 10 year savings bonds. I was terrible at it, but when I had success is was very fulfilling.

I then went back to be employed for a few years, where I loved the job, but hated the tyrant owner, and the money was crap.

After that I started amateur radio and television production, and I created a small education business. It was pre-internet days, so marketing was all peace meal and just ran on luck and the smell of an oily rag.

All the way through I always looked for all the business short cuts, but found the short cuts were always long cuts...LOL.

So, I've been learning about business for the last 25 years, had mentors and coaches, and tried different variations of solo-business.

I have never really been inspired to be a millionaire as I like my freedom from responsibility too much. So, to create a couple hundred thousand income each year works well for me, as I can then bum around and chillax when I want.

I've developed my own personal business philosophy "The Way of the Solopreneur" that has allowed me to run my own businesses for the last 25 or so years and enjoy the control and flexibility I have. Just like Frank Sinatra sang "I did it MY WAY".

I run on the philosophy that I am free on all levels, and my needs are always met. I don't live ostentatiously, but I am very comfortable.

I discovered that to live my life free of "stuff" and burden, I had to follow four specific paths and do them concurrently to speed up the process. The first was, I had to clear away old dead beliefs that were getting in the way of me experiencing lifestyle flexibility. i.e. Mindset.

The second one was to fill in all the gaps of my personal business skills . i.e. Methods.

The third path was to learn how to engage with the world through clever modern sales practices. i.e. Marketing.

And the fourth was to be connected with a supportive community or mentoring system. Ongoing Personal Development.

After a near death experience in November 2023 from a serious blood infection and numerous skin grafts later, I decided to share what I have learned to create my own living legacy.

That is why I have been inspired to develop the "The Way of the Solopreneur" Education and Community Support System. So, I can share what I have learned and do more of what I love.

This has evolved into "The 7 Pillars of Solopreneur Success", that balances and blends Lifestyle and Entrepreneurship without the stress.

Come and join this very unique and exclusive community where you can upgrade your Solopreneur skills, leverage your time, increase your income, and live the life of your choosing.

I look forward to meeting you soon!
